Do you know any lawyers in New York that will sue for deformation of character?

I had someone accuse me of a crime. It took the courts over a year and a half to get it to trial to prove I was innocent had nothing to do with it at all. But because I was accused I lost my job. Had my name in the paper. And lost friends and family members. I was wondering if anyone knew of a lawyer in Northern New York that would sue her for slander and deformation of character. After money I lost from loosing my job and paying a lawyer I am out over 70K.
