I need help with custom vampire fangs.?

I bought custom vampire fangs from happy harrys and smoothed them down and sharpened them so much that I accidentally drew blood testing the point lol. but when I mixed the putty to make a mold of my teeth in the fangs it said to wait for five minutes for it to dry. I don't think I mixed them right because I sat there for a half an hour and they didn't dry. so I was wondering if I could use anything else (preferably out of household items) to make a substitute putty. any suggestions?
