Can my hughesnet go any faster?

I have hughes satellite internet. When i download something it only goes at a maximum that i have seen of 121 k/b sec which isn't very fast. After i download something then try to download something else the speed drops down and just keeps going down. Is there any way to make it go faster without getting different internet. Thanks
