Introducing a new dog to 3 established cats... how do you know if they are truly okay with each other?

They may not be friends but at 9 months im sure the cats will stay away from your big baby and dont worry soon enough that boxer will have more confidence than you and wont really be afraid of much, I have a 8 month old lab pup that O had to introduce to two cats who dont really like anything well they didnt really like my pup to much if she gets to close to them the swat her in the face but she dont feel it and thinks they want to play and if it wasnt for the fact of me being around the pup when im home or her being in the creat when im not I think the cats would have there paws full and wouldnt know what to do with her trying to play with them, like I said I wouldnt worry for the most part if the pup is fine they will saty away from each other...by the way my two cats are both declawed, also like walking lady said the reason the dog want to play with the cats is because the run away from her but if the cat is laying in bed with my girlfriend and I the dog will hop on the bed and be fine its when the kittys run the pupy wants to chase
