Why do perfumes smell like cats pee on some women and not on others.?

I have exactly the same problem, my friend wears the most delicious perfume and on me, its vile.. I just tried different testers until i managed to find one that didn't react horribly with my skin. I can wear Gucci perfumes, don't know what they do differently! Gucci Woman is a lovely subtle scent which you can wear daytime or when going out.
